Emma especially has been very helpful and most thoughtful and kind throughout this very painful and difficult time. I would highly recommend Caledonia Cremation at a time when the families of those who have left us are struggling with their loss. They are very helpful as far as our requirements / and decisions about how we prefer to organise what happens after a loss. And for me & our family it made it so much easier to have them do as we wished . Thank you Emma for your Help and concern.Posted on Brian CorbettJune 17, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I found the whole experience very 'easy' the staff were very helpful, sympathetic and supportive throughout and afterwards. Additionally I love the ethos behind it, as a non-profit all profits are used to help those who cannot afford to pay for a funeral. Very cost effective but not at the cost of the care and attention to detail. I have left instructions to use them for my own funeral when that time comes, cannot give higher praise than that.Posted on Samantha CrossanMarch 3, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was very happy with the service I recieved, right from 1st contacting caledonia cremation, I was put at ease, and felt my brother's remains would be treated with care, respect and dignity. I was given all the information I asked for and felt well informed and supported through a difficult time. the staff (Storm) couldn't be more helpful and kept in contact to update me at every stage of this difficult process. storm was also easy to get hold of when I needed to contact her with any queries. I would happily recommend caledonia cremation to anyone going through what is a very difficult time. and in my honest opinion fully deserve all 5 stars. thank you caledonia cremation for taking the pressure of dealing with everything funeral related and allowing me to come to terms with and deal with my grief.Posted on the pappyJanuary 17, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My brother died before Christmas..unfortunately he had no life insurance and I couldn't afford £500 deposit other companies requested.....this company asked no questions and took me on trust value ..I explained I had money coming to pay for cremation but it might take few weeks.... These 2 women were amazing and kept me informed every step in the way..I cannot think you enough for helping me in some of my darkest times...I will be flying up in few weeks to Edinburgh to collect my brothers ashes. Once again thanks for your help....Michaela MccabePosted on David Finlayson-FrostDecember 12, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I lost my wife after a very short gap between diagnosis of cancer and her passing - the end of a 30 year marriage during which we had spent only 3 weeks apart. Caledonia Cremations took care of the whole difficult process. No detail was too small for their care, from what Ginty would wear to how I could collect her ashes. Emma and Storm kept in regular contact, not just to advise about business matters but also to check how I was getting on and to listen while I was in early grief. Caledonia Cremation give above-excellent service for an amazing price, but what really sets them apart is their humanity, empathy and compassion. Thank you again for your support during the most difficult and darkest time of my life.Posted on Tamara McNicolDecember 11, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Caledonia Cremation were so helpful and kind throughout the process, I really appreciated their calls and how well they kept me informed at such an awful time. Thanks to Emma, Storm and the whole team, mum would have been so pleased that the money we paid went to such a non-profit with such a worthwhile cause.Posted on peter millerNovember 20, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
